anybody have this problem?
Wednesday, September 27, 2006 2:28 PM
so i put in my new rksport upper motor mount and next time i pop the hood i find the damn thing bled all over my cam cover...

cam cover is powdercoated (not just given the krylon touch)
i have an 03 fuel rail that's at the powdercoaters now that i'll be getting back soon. it'll be done in a semi gloss black.

questions, comments, criticisms, money, etc welcome.

Thats cause you went with RK Sports mount .

Should have gone with the turbo tech racing mount, you would have been more pleased.

None the less, looks good. cant tell from the pictures but do the colors match the same?

2 points are better than one to prevent movement

i'm really happy with how it came out. they aren't quite the same color but pretty damn close.

it mounts the same as the ttr, but its a bigger, more solid bushing, less vibration, and can come in any color for no extra cost, and its cheaper.

Like i said, looks good but the reds seem a lil off.

i may be ignorant in the field of motor mounts, but just bear with me here... how does more solid also equal less vibration? sounds like it would be quite the opposite to me...

SPENCE CHECK YOUR PMS DAMNIT! if it actualy sent to you... anyway... things are looking good and fun for me this weekend once i get the parts car im picking up... and looks good for my front bumper if you would be online once in a while so i can contact you lol

On the other hand....you have other fingers.

I just bought a 20 inch widescreen ultrasharp flat pannel..I'm going to have to subscribe to the high quality porn places now......damn

because it is a larger bushing vs. 2 little tiny bushings. the ttr one as a few holes in it but it still vibrates less. and in my opnion the better to buy.

Sedan love!

i may just rattle can the mount this winter i'm not 100% sure.

as for the rksport vs. turbotech, you have one point vs. 2 points of mounting. the motor twists. how is one point going to be more solid than two? the 2 point mounting is going to resist twist much better. not just that, i have a connection i got the mount through that was less than the turbotech.

dustin... i got your pm, sorry didn't have time to reply back. sounds good bud. i still have it sitting here in my room.

sweet, now on to commenting...cover looks good... i like it even though it clashes with the blue, if thats the only part you do red and keep the rest as stock looking as possible, it can pull it off... and your engine bay is DAMN clean!
