Big truck?.. Big box?... WTF? ( 56K no way! 19+ )
Tuesday, April 18, 2006 3:28 PM
Well this afternoon a rather large truck stopped a few houses down from mine. So i thought my neighboors were moving out finally.

But then he came over and asked me to give him a hand with this huge F'n Box....

It wasn't too heavy, but damn it was a big box. Upon futher investigation I found these black parts in it that look rather great in front of my car..

I think i just might keep it...

... LOL... I got my Type-J kit today that I ordered from Karo a week ago.

Had a little shipping error and got sent the wrong side skirts by mistake. So Karo and I are trying to figure out a way to fix this. He is sending me the correct 4 dr import Fighter side skirts out and we are going to try and find a buyer out here on the N. East coast. So heads up and watch the NE section. It would really help both of us out, Expecially Karo.

I no longer have an entertainment room.... LOL...

I got another large ass box today and inside of it were these...

The 2000-02 black JDM headlights and corners from Jason @ Jbodysource.com. These things look absolutly amazing up close.

Here is the rest of the clutter in my basement...

A little MSD...

We'll see whether or not these were worth the money...My good buddy Chris ( agentomega) has them for his nitrous. I plan on doing the same, so i hope to have some success as well with them.

High flow cat 2.5"

5- Motegi DPK Hyperblack 18X8's.

Prothane control arm Bushings Thanks to Karo..

Got in on the Turbotech Racing GP for these...BAER Decela Rotors and Hawk Pads.

...same with the Pacesetter GP... armor coated.

I am having second thoughts about these... hmmm ... Aerogear OEM CF fenders..

Finally got around to Finishing up polishing my Aerogear OEM CF hood...

So now the question is... Who wants to help install? I have my summer cut out for me and I am officially broke right now. Well, not really there are a few more thing i want to get before i call it quits on the body styling of this car. Like i said before about the side skirts, watch the NE section, it would help me and Karo out tremendously.

i'm guessing its the styrofoam piece that protects the edge that is holding up the hood
not notched

Stenger- Its a microfiber cloth that is between the hood and my basement wall.

Evans- I know, its right up there. But hey its only money, we can't take it with us in the end.

Spencer- Hmm... might have to set up a weekend.

rawkfist- It will happen soo enough. This is the culmination of being single for 6 mos now, and working over time like a mofo.

SlammedOHV- hey man, its all good. I'm sure i'll get alot of help.

Looks Good, I got the same head lights, And I think there sexy.

I'm Pretty sure that you will have to remove that bracket on the finders. It looks like it's for a pre-2000 car, and your head lights dont need the two extra holes..But I could be wrong thou..

Josh- Its the same sedan i'd had all along man. I decided not to sell it since i realized I didn't want to make car payments when i transfer to my 4 yr college. The girl i was dating who i was going to give the car to... well.. we won't go down that road. So i said the hell with it all and dropped the downpayment i was saving on all this stuff. Almost 3.5K worth of stuff there..

J-wright- yes i know about the fenders. You have to cut the 95-99 bracket off of those to make them work, but i haven't decided on whether or no i want to keep them. Now that i have been thinking about paint, i want a 2 tone and i just don't know. But thats the nice thing about a daily driver, i can fart around and procrastinate all i want. I have to splice wires for my headlights but i have a diagram on how to do that, and so on so forth...

Ken.. Ok so i mis-spoke... EURO black headlights... lol. Brain musta take a fart on me. Took me like 20 min to fart around with this thread to make it. Happens...

What are your plans for putting the Type-J sides on a 4-door? Not open the rear doors??

please make sure whoever paints your kit preps it and degreases it first. Mine is in the body shop as we speak getting resprayed. The front that is, all the paint was falling off. So it is costing as much to repaint the front as it was for the entire kit. So if someone is "Hooking You Up" make sure they are doing it right.

BTW, nice choice on Body Kit.

I think Aaron will like it too.

Your cars were the inspiration behind this actually.... After my first body kit order fell through with Wayson USA, I decided to go all out! Thanks for the tip about the kit needing to be degreased. I noticed that while handeling it today. Def needs a good cleaning to remove the dust and grease. When i get it painted, i will be having the whole car done so i know its not going to be a Hook up. I am thinkin around the 2-3K range for paint for the whole car.
