Finally got my rag top installed. Actually, it was installed a couple of weeks ago... whenever it was pretty out. It's been @!#$ty out since we installed it though because that's just how it goes.... lol.
Onto pics.........
Right before we cut the huge whole in our roof-- bye bye roof:
The weapon:
We grew some balls:
Chop chop:
The final results-- (car's a bit dirty but it hasn't stopped raining since we installed the top-- so that's my excuse
):
Ignore the front bumper. My car is in the process of undergoing major body changes (as soon as we get our daily driver up and running). We're still trying to decide on what front bumper to get actually.
If you all have any suggestions about fronts, let me know!!
But we're probably going back to this front:
It's been my favorite so far.

damn i could never cut a hole that big in my car..
sweet. if i already didn't have a sunroof i would do that
I don't think I could bring myself to cut a whole that big in the roof of my car.
How is it for leaks? It'd be a shame to have those beautiful Katzkin wrapped seats damaged.
that is so dope
i want one now
imma copy you
hahahahaha
sorry
but a good idea is a good idea
but some one could just cut it and steel my stuff right if i did that
Wow, fantastic job! That is simply awesome!
well you can think of the rain as a test to be sure it wont leak!

Looks hot but is it the reflection or did the roof get dented after you tightened it down?
Very hot, love rag tops!
If you switch fronts and want to sell those fogs, hit me up. I need some badly.
We've been in the pouring rain and it hasn't leaked the first time. The only time I've ever experienced a little bit of leaking was when we tested it and sprayed it with a car wash hose and then it was only a few drops. The water some how seaped it's way between the fabric and the roof.
As for the denting... the roof actually did dent slightly right after we installed it. Since then it's fallen back out and settled though. The only place it dented in slightly was on the driver's side-- on that corner. Anything else seen is probably just a reflection.
I will have pics of it closed as soon as the weather clears up... eventhough I hate how it looks closed. & we don't have the headliner or any of that stuff done. I don't know when I'll be able to take pics from the inside.
I would recommend a ragtop in all honesty. They're noisy and when you have them open all the way they can blow yah real hard... lol. But whenever they're open normal like, you can't even tell it's there... not much wind at all. Plus, it's awesome at night. I've loved mine a lot the few times I've been able to open it.
Thanks for all the comments guys!
