Hey all,
I finally took some updated pictures of the Cav. All is going pretty well and I know my activity on the board has been rather sluggish but I've been really busy with school and work. Right now this is how she stands and only likes another week of adjustments before its ready for paint. Unfortunately thats not coming till April so I drove it down to to school and gave it a temporary home in my buddies garage.
The car is going through a semi-big change overall and in a weird way I am glad this wreck occurred. It allowed me to pull the car off the road and get things back together. This is also first time pictures with my Gravana Suspension installed, which I put on the day before I wrecked the car. They've seen less that 400 miles on them lol. As you can see exterior changes aren't too drastic. Same front, same style hood just different brand, but the sideskirts will now be OEM. I think the guy did a damn good job on straightening things out and welding in all that needed welded in. It honestly looks better than what it did before the wreck. And the c/f radiator shroud wasn't destroyed. It only needs re-gel coated and cleared before I can put it back on.
The new look.

Were the sides wrecked in the crash? If not why the change to stock? I kinda liked those on there a lot!

KIDDING of course. Love this car. it was one of the cleaniest cars around. Setting the bar rather high for anyone who choses this path. I love it!
Not to mention your a pretty kick ass guy, and we make fun of your respected local retards together on JBOK PM"s. lol

glad to see your car coming along zach. keep up the good work.
good to see
question, where did you pick up the if front and for how much
ive been shoppin around to check on prices, just curious where you got yours
Mat Cacciatore,
By the end of the year I had grown to hate those sides on my car. I'm not sure why but it just wasn't what I wanted anymore. I wanted something that flowed from front to back so I sold them to ClipzedZ24 (Michelle) back in November and bought Darkstarts 04 OEM skirts. I wanted to clean up the outside a bit more and thought that the 04 sides being a straight would flow from the IF front well and match the rear valence from RK pretty good.
To everyone that has mentioned the IF sides, to be honest. they would never line up with my rear valence. They hang down way too far for my liking in all honesty and don't match up at all. I opted for 04 Ls sport skirts for the ease of matching both the front and rear up nicely. Sorry I don't have pics of them on the car, I just mocked them up on there to see how they fit one day.
ruen (Ryan Bauman) ,
I can thank Induction Dynamics for that filter location lol.
Joe Schulte (JoeDM),
Hey now I was only doing 25 when I wrecked lol.
I mean seriously who wrecks when they are not speeding?
;It has made me become even more cautious during bad weather though.
Stenger,
Please keep that chop of my car out of here lol.
CavNon-LS,
If I had a dollar for every time I have ever posted pictures on JBO and that comment was made I'd been able to fix the car back at no charge lol.
Its all good though. I like what can be done with the OHV so it'll be the route I choose to follow.
themarin8r ,
Karo@carcustoms, I def. recommend him. I think it was around $470 shipped, can't remember right off hand though. It sucks that it makes the second time I had to buy one though, those bumpers are expensive.
To everyone else, thanks for the positive comments and positive feedback. It feels pretty good to get all praise.
It was a real kick in the face when the accident occurred and almost had me to the point to start over with a different ride. Definitely look for sometime in late April early May for the finished product. Both inside, under, and out are getting a makeover.
