Gettin there...................
Wednesday, December 07, 2005 10:17 PM
Just need to get some steel for the raised up spare tire well, and the rest of my set-up from a buddy of mine and start goin to town. By spring my install will finally be done, and I will at least be tukin in the rear, not looking so good for the 19x8's up front. Might get new wheels. or new wheels and tires. Lookin for a 19x7, or 7.5 BUT I LOVE MY WHEELS, so I'm not sure if layin out the front is even important or not to me. Either way it will be sweet. BUT for the BIG openings in my current wheels, I had to paint my struts, couldn't leave em black. The color is ANODIZED BLUE, the same as my calipers, drums, engine bay parts, and the pinstripe around my graphics.

Easystreet rear sleve bags, and Firestone Bags with Monroe Struts up front. Not sure who made em.

nice.
Don't be so sure about tucking though man. It's alot of work. I've got the exact same tire/suspension combo as you.
If you want to save your tires, my recommendation to you is.... cut the lip completely out front and back.
If you even plan on tucking at all you gotta do it, then roll those front fenders a ton if you wanna tuck there. You'll still end up having the tires completely against the inside of the front fender though.

Just my .02 cents, been in the situation you're going to be in. I thought i was going to tuck my Axis Hagens no problem, ended up shredding the sidewall of my tires pretty good.
You got a lot of work ahead of you if you think you're going to tuck the Hagens period.

The back tucks on its own as of now without air ride, just by pulling in a steep driveway, the tires are very close to rubbing when it does, but the side walls look very good, no marks. I already know of my future problems with the 19x8's, but they are on it and that is all I have for now.

^^^If mine sits like yours I'll be happy, also Sedans have different rears, as far as sheetmetal goes. My rear door is part of my rear wheelwell. So maybe my rear has a little more clearence. Anyway thanks for the input.

The fronts definately look like AIM struts... You're going to lay very uneven unless you do something to change the fronts drastically The AIM fronts don't come close to tucking...

Should look sweet bagged tho

Well you could always maybe look into Yota's fenders and rolling them. Cause due to Japan and there laws of clearing the tires they are wider. Just thought I might give you the idea.

Sorry, it is actually Dupli-Color METALCAST paint, and it has held up fine on my Rear Drums for years. And they were not cleared.

^^ This was back when I had my Scorchers, so it holds up good for Rattle Cans
