ok would like to hear all your input on what rear end you like best....
1) the way it is now
2) same trunk with buddy club 2 rear shaved liscence plate
3) same as #2 with 00+ spoiler (not sure if possible, the plate may be too high in corner)
4) shaved trunklid with 00+ spoiler budy club 2 rear bumper with plate in bumper
just lose the goofy plate thing. or just dont make it slanted.

for a show car i guess leave the plate frenched (prolly gives you points)
but personaly i hate the frenched plate look
and out of all of those i rate them (from best to worst) 4,3,2,1
not a fan of frenched plates..so..im gonna say 4

whatever u do make sure you fix the sag hehe
actually thats why im going to be changing because i cant get any brakets to work to fix the gap, but thats my fault because i didnt try to fix it b4 i painted it. oh well
dirty elf i dont really show the car, i get bored at shows, im more into looking good for me and to get looks on the street, i love it when a kid cant take his eyes off my car cruising down the highway, or when hot rod guys (who really like the frenched plate) give me complements.
I would hate to see you have to buy a new trunk after that work to french the plate and shave the inners, so I would say option 3 if its not too hard to glass the bumper and make it look right.
Good luck man.
you could always sell me that trunk lid if u wanted

The last one with a TV Frenched into the trunk.
How did you shave your trunk is it with metal or fiberglass? I've been looking at doing the same thing to my 05 Cav.

well you will have to spot weld all the holes in the back where the plastic piece is on the lid or get a 95-02 lid then use sheet metal to cut templates of the inner tails then weld them in, grind down all the welds flat, then you can use a thin layer of filler to finish any imperfections.
thanks guys keep em commin
why not fix the one you got?

thats why # 1 is an option, nad i will mess up the paint to fix the gap because ive tried to fix it already and i need to do it a different way. so if i need to paint it anyways i was tossing around the idea of changing it.
#4 i cant stand frenched plates on anything
3 or 4 But I think 4 would look best.
