thanks for the comments guys! i did alot of the bodywork myself, but being an amateur these guys that painted it did ALOT of prep work. it came out alot better than i expected actually
any ideas what kind of emblem i could replace the "z24" with? it would be cool to get something to fit in there

yeah you're right Dave, it did take awhile... especially working all day and trying to get the energy to tackle something on the car after work and what not lol. i am happy with it so far though, it's not a Z by any means but i always loved the look of the 2nd gen phase2 bumpers and skirts! i'm just looking for some kind of emblem or decal that will fit in the spot that the "z24" is in right now.. if not i will just take it out and spray the spot it was in to match, would definately like to put something in there tho
man it does seem like it took forever though, but like i say i'm happy with how it's coming along so far and thanks for the input!

Not to be argumentive or anything, but who in the hell cares if its not a real Z? I mean the only difference might be some RPO codes when Im done with mine.
I mean lets see the differences between the models...
Fe3 suspension vs Fe1..... Ive got all GTZ Fe7 suspension and Bilsteins and Eibachs
Z24 bumpers vs base bumper....Ive got the Z24 bumpers on already, and will be swapping to OEM Z24 honeycomb ones.
Z24 door inserts and rear 1/4 panel inserts..... Ive got both and swapped out the ugly blue interior for a black one
Z24 tilt seat sliders vs base ones..... Ive swapped in the Z24 tilt slider into my GTZ seats
Z24 black fold down plastic piece around rear seat.... I have that too and will be putting it in this week
Z24 side skirts and door pieces.... I am still prepping mine to go on...
Z24 3.1 vs base 2.2 auto..... 3400 and 5 speed are getting ready as well.
So really what is the diff between my car and a (Real) Z?
