So I had my body kit painted by a friends dad and needless to say he did a @!#$ty job because the paint has been chipping off!! I told him when it first started and he said give him more money and he would fix it, I was like WTF! There is also a pic of the dent someone decided to leave in my front fender.
J-BOM WHAT!!!!
After almost a year I finally get to represent J-BOM to the fullest. This is the only sticker that will ever touch my car, lol.

How did you pay him? I also use pay pal with my credit card because when something like this happens you can fill a fraud complaint and then the person he promised a certain thing and didn't hold up to it has to give you your money back. Hope he fixes it because like everyone else said it doesnt even look like he primered the pieces.

I paid him cash, he paints for some dealership and did my kit on the side, someplaces it shows little primer, others it doesnt. I don't have the money to get it repainted so I get to ride around in shame, lol.

Maybe you should show the dealership he works for his work. I'm sure that they would be impressed

I was thinking the same thing. or.. maybe go to the dealership and say look this guy did this in your shop on the side. normally dealerships need repair orders even on their own vehicle even to do a oil change. (leagal issue) throw him under the bus.
**changes are here**
that sux rob, it dosnt look like there was any primer on there in the first place.
Urethane is soo tricky.
Either way Rob, glad to see you posting again buddy, long time no talk....
Looks like somebody doesn't know how to prep and paint Urethane.
First sand raw Urethane very well with 220 grit paper and red 3m scotchbrite pad where you can't get sandpaper.
Next spray with adhesion promoter.
Next spray with a 2K urethane primer with flex additive.
Next wetsand with 400 grit paper and red scotchbrite as needed.
Now spray 2 to 3 coats of the basecoat.
Finally spray 3 coats of Urethane clear with flex additive.
Just tell everyone that your car is so fast that the paint tore off.
yeah listen to DCStang. That is exactly what you do. I have front and side bomex urethane and my whole car just got painted Sunday. And i did all the prep work on the bumper and skirts. Sand with 220 everywhere, then take one of those pads to scuff it even more. I used some type of scuff gel to do the trick, spray it down with water, wash with dish soap, rinse, and it should not be shiny anymore.
He should fix that for nothing... he messed it up... you paid him... he needs to fix it. Tell him if he doesn't... you'll see him in court
