Over spring break I managed to almost get all of my interior finished and into my car. The rear peices have been missing for about two years now and I finally got them back in. The pics are of the interior 90% done, I ran out of time before I had a chance to finish the hole that goes back into my trunk. The biggest thing is I shaved the rear seat belt holes as well as the rear botoom half of where the mounting brackets for the sides of the rear seats. Yes I plan on not installing rear seats again.
Also Friday I received the RK Sport Carbon Fiber Radiator Cover (big thanks to Karo) in the mail and decided to do my springtime engine cleaning and install it. I'm also enclosing a pic of the work I did on my nasty Pacesetter Header that lost its paint long ago. It used to be rusted looking in coloration and I think its big improvement.
On with the pics.
First the interior
Now the radiator cover

u have pics of how your harnesses are installed?
I noticed you shaved the rear panel seat belt locations
One again everyone thanks I really couldn't be more happy with the responses so far. I spent two years without those panels in the car because of how busy I have been. It feels good to almost have an entire interior in my car again lol.
Big Poppa,
Heres a sort of backside picture of the harnesses. You can see that they are running down to where the rear seatbelt bolts are in the rear of the floor. I'll get some better pics for you in the morning and email them to you that way you can see where exactly they were mounted and everything.

so thats what those panels look like in the car.. i need to get mine put in.. looks awsome..
What did you do on those rear panels???? Did you just sand it down and then Paint it??
those rear panels look amazing, you do nice work
Yeah that looks real clean and smooth, I want to do that but I'm worried about cracking or someone in the back slapping their seatbelt against it , but that looks tight..
Herman,
Besides the holes I glassed in I started out by taking a Da sander to it with 180 then 220 grit. I then layed 4 real good coats of primer on it, sanded it down with 600, sealed, shot the base then cleared.
Fatalic CAVI,
No back seats or rear seat belts so I don't have to worry about that.
I don't realy carry anything back there anymore though. I know they will take a pretty good hit but its just added insurance keeping it all in the trunk.
Thanks again guys.
