what do you guys recommend? I plan on using it for my deck lid, and on some fiberglassed stuff so it has to be kinda flexible.

I recommend doing it correctly, with real carbon fiber and resin.

i used cf vinyl 3 or 4 years ago. it looked ok i guess. alot of people liked it. however I hated it as it looked cheap and hackish so i got rid of it
I have the vinyl on my dash in place of the stock vinyl. Do NOT use it on the rear deck. For some reason the back window kept getting an oily substance on it and it kept irritating me because i could see it when i looked out the window so i put the stock deck back in....

and tabs i dont understand how deciding on vinyl is that big of a deal.. maybe i have never fiberglassed before? maybe i was looking at my options. and im pretty sure i dont work at a @!#$ mcdonalds. how about i work at a hard wood spiral stair manufacturer. also i know the difference between the two but i chose to write your because i was pissed off and didnt care about my grammer. now can we move on or are you going to keep hounding me over this old topic? i paid the speeding fine and i did 400 hours of community service and 400 dollars for the other one. This kid seems to have had a bad past and has gotten trashed for it. It's too easy to trash on somebody, let it go.
As far as the vinyl, i have some on my tail lights. It looks decent and am ok with that. Everybody starts somewhere and needs to see bad/cheap mods in order to apreciate and strive for the good parts. We are all at different levels with mods and experience. Let people learn and give them GOOD ADVICE, don't put them down we are all here for the same thing.
Carbon fiber vinyl is just tacky hands down, and silkcavy is a f u c k i n idiot, who drives recklessly with no license? and silkcavy nobody cares about you sound system specs and model number, sounds like your deck cost more than the system
