Check this out 2004 Sunfire gas gauge works fine if it is cool outside. When the car sits in the sun for a few hours gauge get stuck on empty. Start the car up and run A/C for about 20 minutes and turn off car and restart gauge works fine. I think the problem is in the cluster. My next question is how hard is it to pull out the cluster? My only concern is the passenger air bag. Anyone pulled out the dash to replace the cluster. Any help would be great.
