ok i have looked around on all these forums and i cant find what i need to do. i have a Faze tach and a 99 2.2 cavy do i need the auto meter 9117 tach adapter and when i try to hook up my tach with out that adapter it reads no signal not even half like i have been reading.... NEED HELP PLEASE
its very simple. yes you need the adaptor. where are you trying to get your signal from? you should be going to the coil pack. check out my cardomain page for pics
i am tryin to hook the trigger wire on the tach to the pink wire on the coil pack...
your coming off the 2 pin harness correct? i forget what color the wire is but look at my cardomain page, it shows you how to hook it up to the coil pack
yea thats on the 2 pin harness. i looked at ur pics that helps alot. where is the best place to get that adapter at?? advance has it fpr $90 you know where i can get it any cheaper?
is that msd 8713 the same thing as the auto meter 9117??
It should be.....tach adapter for a DIS ignition system....thats all you need
