Ebay seat covers.

Has anyone actually bought any of these? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2003-2006-Chevy-Cavalier-Car-Seat-Cover-Covers_W0QQitemZ350050577614QQcmdZViewItem
I was wondering if anyone knew if they actualy fit well and if they are even decent looking. I am not looking for anything amazing just something to protect the factory seats in my wifes 04.

I purchase some for my 97 cavi, about a year ago. They are nice material, but fitment is horrible. Fronts were extremely loose fitting (back of the seat cover sat out from the seat), the headrest pieces wouldn't work with the belt holders, and the rear was also very loose fit (too much material). Waist of money...so I put them back in the package and threw them into a dark corner..

I thought I still had a picture from when I was using a set of those, but I can't locate it at the moment. They were pretty sh'asty. The cheap plastic material was thin, sticky, and non-breathing. As mentioned, the fitment was horrible. They never stayed put no matter how they were secured, and looked only decent at the best of times.

I'd sooner wrap my seats with custom-trimmed trash bags than get another set.

Horrible I just got some a year ago. Horrible fitting my front seats are really baggy in the front and the back is to small lol. The headrests fit on mine but they are like double the size of my headrests so i sewed them to make them smaller and it worked alittle. now the backseats oh god Horrible there was no backing just strings and these fasteners that broke with any type of force i tried to zip tie it and the strings would break. Your best bet is don't buy the seat covers make them yourself or have a professional install them. I have seen seat covers from autozone fit better than those piece of @!#$ ones on ebay.

OH I still have the seat covers in my car hoping they would maybe start to fit better after being broke in ( was going to sew them to my seat) but no that didn't work in fact they look down right ugly.

While I currently have a Katzkin leather interior (pricey but worth it), that was preceded by trying out a set of the "stretch-on" type covers you're describing. They weren't from eBay but rather this firm:

http://www.coverking.com/customseatcovers.html?gclid=CJ3hsYWAk5QCFQMoGgodRy22uA

They make them for specific car models, at a price of about $280 for a full front/rear J set.

On their website everything looks wonderful. That stated:

When I received them, the fit of the fronts was at best O.K. (I think given the deep "bucket" curve of the seat and the stitching it is difficult for any stretch-on cover to really fit perfectly) The rear bench was the real problem; it was clear that (despite them saying so) they didn't have the proper layout for the smaller convertible version of it; the covers was just way too wide. So back they went (I did get a refund, since the firm guaranteed fit).

The Katkin leather (with professional install) was almost seven times as expensive but again worth every penny. And I'm glad I made that investment when I did, because they unfortunately (for whatever reason) no longer sell seating for pre-2003 Sunfires.
