Glowshift gauge pod

i was wondering if anybody had any pics of the angle of the triple gauge pod. I want to order either the lotek or the glowshift one, but i hear people hate the lotek angle. I tried searching, but there's no topics about the glowshift pod. Thanks for your help guys

That's a nice lookin pod! The angle's look pretty good too. I hear a lot of people complain about where the Lotek pod faces your gauges.

I have the glowshift pod with autometer sport-comp air/fuel, oil pressure, and volts

Question to u guys with that glow shift pod, I heard/read on their site it was a 'clip in/screw in' pod. Does it go over top of the original pillar or does it replace it? Thanks.

supposidly it is a cover style peice ...... but thats because its not exactly thick ....
i bet tho ... you could mount it up without the original one and u'd be ok ..... but its your choice all together ....

why do you wanna kno tho ?
do you really want to keep your old a pillar panel ?
if so ... instead of screwing ..... just use 3m double sided tape .... and your done

Up here in Toronto Canada .... theres to much cold and to much snow to be doing to much work on the car so i wait till spring then i'll install it

If you want pro pod also makes a great gauge pod holder..The plastic they use is nice and thick..And it fits over the factor piller...If you want insted of using the little plugs to hold it..Just take sand paper really rough,And rough up both the factory piller and the back of the pod holder,Once you are done that wash down both item with wax and grease remover.the take silicon clear or black..And applie it to the factory piller side,Then apply the gauge pod to it,,Squeeze it in place.once centered use some tape to hold it all in place, clean up any silicon that has been pushed out and let it dry for about 2 days..Remove tape and get it painted to match..This way you need no plugs and it wil never come loose..It look nice and factory..

Nah man I ask because I wanna replace the pillar. But if it is a 'clip on/screw in' one I also don't wanna ruin the other stock pillar. I tend to keep all my stock parts just incase one day I have to put it all back to stock. That's all

im going to mold my pod to my stock piller then sand and spray it real quick i think it will look swell if i sand and spray the other piller as well to get the smooth finish that i want

Hey there,

Saw you guy talking about the 3 gauge pod from glow shift. On their website it seems that they only sell if for up to the 2002 model year. Does anyone know if this will fit the 2005 model year? Any help would be great.

Thanks

I've got an 05 cav, picked up the glowshift pod sometime last year i think. Maybe mine was the exception but the fit wasn't great. It had a tendency to look warped so I added an extra screw to hold down the problem area. I'll get around to doing a better fix later if I ever get irritated with the extra screw that I can't see anyways.
