in the market for some racing seats and was wondering if they were worth the money ...as far as durability? i know in the past people griped about the fabric fading on them, but lets say if theyre in a weekend driver ,in which during the week its in a garage.in another case would it really matter......... or do they even fade that quick? if i could get input on these seats....because i really like them. let me know!!!!! thanks for viewing

well you just missed a good deal in the G.P. Forum man, 229 for a set of the Evo-R's, when they are regularly 399.99...
hop on in i've got a J
I have aset and to be honest ill never get anoher set again. Great seat but over the course of a summer they faded alot, the fabric streched alot where your legs go. on the plus side they are a very comfy seat once they get worn into your body but it does take a bit of time getting used to the big hump your legs have to go over..in the end i would give them a 6 out of 10..phil
I absolutely LOVE mine but yes fading is a big big issue with Tenzos, and in the right light my black looks dark purplish.
Yup^^black looks dark purple and my grey looks pinkinsh...gaymobile ftw! lol
Would NEVER buy my tenzos if I could go back. They were red...and are now PINK. The fabric is such cheap material, almost thinner than a t shirt material. I will definently admit to them being very comfortable racing seats, and they hug you, keep you in your spot around corners and whatnot, but they are @!#$ material. If I were you i would buy a set and have them reupholstered and they would be perfect! BTW i also hve a Tenzo Steering wheel and it is broken, it flexs like the top half is a seperate peice. BTW the plastic peices that go arround the seat belts always fall off my tenzo seats cuz they @!#$ely snap together....sorry if this post doesnt make any sense..im drunk....i would give the seats a 6-7 out of 10....would def buy sparcos or carribous (SP?) or something else next....
The red Tenzos in my '99 Sunfire convertible have faded and the stitching in the headrest area is letting go.
