anyone know if the back seats from cavs and fires are interchangable??? anyone swapped one over? im looking at a fire backseat fill the hole where my cav one use to be...

my friend has a sunfire back seat in his 99 cav. i would think that they would all be interchangeable. you might run into a problem with the 60/40 split rear seats though.

Yep, they should be. The only difference is gonna be from the years. Some of them had the rod thru the seats and door panels, and some, the newer, don't have it thru the panels.
ANd ya, ur gonna have to make sure that if u had 60/40 that u get 60/40 and if u had the full one, get the full one.

anyone have a pic of this 60/40 seat style or just tell me what the hell it is, im not familiar with this... its goin into my 02 Z, trying to find out what year the fire seat is at the moment...

60/40 is teh rear seat. i beleive they started in 03.. Instead of like in mine and prolly urs Kevin when u pull down the back of teh seat the whole back comes down, now in the 60/40 the back of the seat is split into two peices 60% and 40% so u have the option of still having a seat back there if u only need to lower half the seat. I have yet to look into the latch and hinge they use becuz im interested in mounting one in mine..
