Anyone have a picture of the Fidanza short shifter installed in their cavalier or sunfire. I just purchased one and wanted to see what it looked like from a standpoint of in the car with the knob and all.

i dont, i ordered a fidanza shifter for my cav...but after 7 months of waiting for a batch of them to get overseas, i gave up and got a B&M...make SURE that if you order the fidanza the distributer has one in his hand before you order it, or you will be screwed

So you order a part then ask about it? The level of common sense continues to fall on JBO

No......read above....i ordered the part. I know what it looks like just outside the car like in a picture. I jsut wanted to see waht it looks like inside the car as in how low it sits in the center console and the shape of the knob. I didnt want to spend 130 bucks on a b&m becasue they are the same thing as the fidanza just a different name printed on them.

You still proved my point. If you wanted to know what it looked like in the car you probably should have asked BEFORE you bought the part. Now if you don't like it your SOL.

And it's not just a different name....I'd take a B&M over a Fidanza ANY DAY.

all I can really say about the look.... I bought the e-bay short throw... took it out and put in the B&M, there was absolutely no difference in how they worked, felt, looked, sure B&M probobally uses a higer grade of metal or something but not at all worth the extra $

No I don't. If I don't like what a sponsor sends me to use I negotiate something else. There's a reason you never see me buy a part and THEN ask what it looks like or how good it is. I do my research beforehand. He can be as different as he wants but he, and everyone else, needs to learn to do research, get pictures and info, and ask questions BEFORE they toss down their money on something. Guess some people only learn by wasting money though.

Where did I EVER tell you to search? I just stated a fact...that more and more people are buying parts without knowing what they really are, and used you as an example. Not my fault you got all butt hurt about it.

If you don't want me to post anymore that's fine. Don't IM me when you need help then either. Have fun with the car and getting it running right. Hope you can get it all down and working.

It seems to me that he knew what it was and he just wanted to see what it looked like installed in a Cavalier.

Once again, your @!#$ty attitude shows it's ugly head Hypsy.

If anything Hypsy, the growing trend on the JBO is lousy people who have been here forever, acting like their god and starting s*it with everyone they can for the stupidist reasons possible. So Splash asked if anyone had a pic of something installed on their car . . . oh god. Lets piss and moan like a little girl cause he asked what it looked like installed. He obviously knew what the shifter itself looked like, and he knows what a Cavalier interior looks like, so he just wanted to see the two put together. He never said he just went out and bought it without knowing anything about it. So get off your little pedistal, and STFU if you don't have anything decent to say.
