hey all. i have a '94 Cavalier, i have the outside looking pretty much the way i want it to and now it's time to start on the interior. i was getting sick of driving the car with no tach... so i went and bought a new tach, an oil pressure gauge, a volt meter gauge, and a Lotek dual pillar pod. the gauges are nothing special (iEquus) but they'll do the trick for what i need. anyway these gauges are all back-lit with black numbers. they're black on white background in the day and at night i have the backlight on blue.

so i'm looking for a new gauge overlay... i really like the reverse-glow type, but where my other gauges are all backlit i dont think the reverse glow overlay would really match at night when everything is lit up. so i figured i'd go with an "indiglo" overlay, possibly with a carbon fiber bezel to reduce all the glowing empty space. i think that would look pretty sweet, all my gauges would then be black numbers on blue background. this is the overlay here.. http://www.procarparts.com/store-detail.asp?sku=CV91CV%2D3394GGX

the only problem is, there is only 1 place i can find this indiglo gauge overlay that i want but i cant seem to get an email back from them on how to buy it since they dont do international credit card or paypal.

but what do ya's think? the reverse glow overlay might look funny with my tach and other gauges because the other ones aren't reverse glow.... i guess i need an opinion, if i cant find the indiglo overlay anywhere else would the reverse glow one still look "somewhat ok" with my other gauges? sorry for the ebay link, if i need a new link i can get one somewhere else..

i have the same guages (iEguus) and there not bad gauges at all. especially for the money. altho the blue turns out more greenish. i think i would go with the ones from procarparts. or at least that style. i know ive seen the ones like that on ebay before. so id keep looking.

thank you for the reply Wojo. yeah i have not seen the indiglo style on ebay (canada) in quite some time.. but if anyone knows where i could find a set of the indiglo's for 91-94 Cav no tach anywhere please let me know thanks!

i cannot seem to find them anywhere but procarparts and i hear they are very hard to deal with from across the border

i think the indiglo gauges with a carbon fiber bezel would be hot!
