Work required to install LCD Screen?
Friday, March 10, 2006 10:47 PM
Well, since I have all the interior pieces out for paint, I started to think about relocating my radio and HVAC and putting a LCD screen in their place. I searched and found a few post regarding this. Most of them were custom fabs with lots of glassing. I am not trying to spend a lot of time making this look perfect, but I was just wondering what exacly is involved in installing this.

Seems like I can just cut out the plastic piece between the radio and HVAC, and do a little work to pretty that area up. I know that this wouldn't look perfect, but would this basically be all I would need to do to get this in? What else is involved?

Depending on screen size that could work. I think the main thing is the actual mounting of the screen have you worked out how you are going to do that yet?
