i have the b&m short shifter for my 03 cav and i have a problem with putting it into first i have to really jam it up and play with it to get it to kick into first....its not the trans its the shifter itself...ne one else have this problem and if so how can u correct it

i have the same problem from time to time, but i still have my stock shifter, unfortunately...
I also have that problem, but i have just gotten into the habit of running it up into first from second.
