i noticed a couple of ppl on this site and on car domain and stuff had their interior completely smooth and shiny...i saw some1 refer to it as glass or glass look...i was just wondering if that was b/c you sand it completely smooth or if it was fiberglass...so my questions are...if you do sand it what grit do i start and what steps do i need to follow...and what paint should i use...also my dash board is like a leather type material...i cant sand it so what can i do to get that same look? all suggestions apprecieated
Look at the sticky at the top of the interior forum. It helps tremendously.
u can sand all the plastic down and then have the leather material actually fiberglassed, or have everything fiberglassed which would be quicker. i started with 80 grit and then worked my way up. i finished with like 2000 grit and wet sanded it. if u decide to sand it be ready to put alot of time in. hope that answers ur question.
