Door panel question
Tuesday, May 31, 2005 3:50 PM
Ok, I have a sunfire and my door panels are like, 2 big peices held together... I want to paint one peice one color and another peice another color... How would I get these peices apart and back together again? They look like they're held together by a big glob of melted plastic. would i have to cut this "glob" off to get the peices apart? Thanks

If i was you i would just tape it off real well then paint one, let it dry, then tape off the other and paint it so you dont have to worry about cutting into anything. just my opinion

not sure, but if they are like cavy door panels, they are held together wiht plastic welds, just pop them off, and paint them separate, it will be a nicer job, then put them back together with some opoxy

That's what I did when I painted my old interior... just taped the one part off and painted. MUCH easier that way
