Has anyone taken their stock seats and shifted them
back a few inches. I'm a tall guy and could use just another
inch or two. Anyone have any ideas. I was considering
haveing a bracket made or something and i never use the
back seat anyway. Will a bracket be dangerous for
passenger safety? Well any ideas tips or experience
would be great right now.
you could probably get a piece of thick metal in a sheet and bolt it to the stock seats, then bolt it to the brackets, or you could just refab brackets, there are a couple of how tos around here, I know mine is somewhere maybe in pics and media, as well as in the domestic driver mag.
If you are taller, you may want to do this as well to get the seats a little lower for more head room.

roger that thanks for the info.
did a search before i posted but
couldn't find anything I'll try again and see what i can
find in the meantime i'll see what i can think up for
brackets
What i did I removed the seat and installed a steel bar .25x1.25 parallel to the door drilled to fit over the stock studs sat the seat where i wanted it and marked the holes be sure to use really strong bolts when bolting the seats to the steel bars that is all that holds you in an accident
That is a really long run on sentence but hopfully you get the idea if not i can try to get ya pics
Yeah but i got the basic idea. Sounds like
a simple solution i'm gonna rip out my seat
and see what i can find for bars. I'll try my
passenger side first.
