I want to put the bigger radio in my 97 sunfire, I saw the dashes look the same. The bezel look like it will fit, I just don't know if where the radio bolts up is any different. Has anyone done this or know?
Yes, the dash itself is different, including how the radio mounts. If you want to change it, you need to change the main part of the dash out to a newer one, or cut it up and make your own mounts.
