Ever sense i bought my cav its had a dash problem. The long strip where the window meets the dash cracked and i waaass considering replacing until i found out it you pretty much had to remove everything to get it out and its not even worth my time. Then i tried bondo'n it but it ended up cracking anyway. Does anyone kno a good way to fix this w/o tearing everything apart????? thanx
They make a cover for it if your interested in going that route, I dont really see any option other then pulling the whole dash out. Its not that bad of a project, just takes some time. Do a search for dash cover.

Exactly what he said, you can get a cover for it, or just replace the dash with one from the junkyard..
sounds good ha thanx didnt kno they made them for that part
I am about to install my coverlay tommorow.
Be sure to buy paint. They do come in different colors BUT their dark gray didn't match OEM graphite at all.
Mopar makes a rattle can interior spray paint in a color called "agate". Google yourself some of that paint if going with the coverlay.

i dont have to worry about cracks ! lol
the coverlay is pretty nice. If you order the black it matches a lot better then the grey colors. I think mine was somewhere around 150 shipped. I think thats a pretty good deal considering the alternative of tracking down and replacing that enormous piece.
