I wanna seperate my cavy door panels so I can do some custom work, what I mean is seperate the top and bottom not the arm rest part, how do they come apart and once apart how do I put them back together? I am sure some people have done this and any help would be greatly appreciated
IIRC they have plastic welds holding them together. You might have to epoxy them back together.
OK what does iirc mean? its bugging me,sorry not to thread jack.
if i remember correctly lol I always asked that for a year lol
just that 2 part stuff that comes in the syringe at the store, or maybe a better bet would be liquid nails or something of the sort from a hardware store.
or if you know someone with a plastic welder
ok so what is best suggested to use to remove the two pieces? drill the welds out cut the welds out or somehow melt the welds?
awesome thanks I will try that tonight If it comes apart ok then I will start my door panel thread lol

if using some sort of adhesive i would recommend loctite powergrab. would be a way better alternative to liquid nails, sndsgood has already pretty much answered the question but i'm just throwin that out there, it's a bit more expensive but well worth it from what i've seen.
