hey i own a 02 cavie and i had her for about 4 years and without a tach so i leaned to drive her good without but im sick of not having one so i got a stock piller and started makeing a pod i have that part done now i just dont know how to hook up the tach i bought a cheap one from princess auto if anyone has one of them well its a 30 doller tach i got the ground and the light and the ingition hooked up i just dont know were to put the wire that gets the rpms someone told me its in to dash under the cluster never cheacked yet because i want to know if its really there dont want to risk scrating my paint on my dash and someone also told me thats theres and purple and white wire trew my fire wall in my main harness so can someone clear this up for me so i can do it right without shaging up someone lol thanks
just buy a stock cluister with a tach.. so much better and looks stock. plug and play for 2000-2005 jbodies. i got one for sale.
you should probably just buy a stock cluster unless your gonna invest in the money and buy a big tach meant for racing. i bought a 90 auto gage and it did nothing for me. it was way off and didnt even help me at all.
im also watching this thread, i've got the 00-05 stock cluster with the tach in it now im just trying to figure out how to hook it up, do i need an adapter or is there something i can just splice into
what kind of motor do you have?
o well i was asking in case he wanted to just put in an aftermarket tach for some reason
