ok here's my question, i know you can put dynomat on the metal parts of the door so it stops vibrating and making less noise,
but is there anything you can put on the back of the plastic door panels to make them stop vibrating and just to generally strengthen them up? Thanks
so just glue that stuff to the inside of my door panel then? ill have to try that, any places online i could order some?
b/c i don't know of any places around me that would have that.
sndsgood wrote:any sort of foamy material will work, i generally use headliner material. basically bout 1/8" thick foam padding. glue it to anything plastic in your car to keep things quiet, i eve did the underside of my dash to get rid of all those vibrations. its super cheap and one of the best things for our car to get rid of vibrations.
i bought some headliner to also do this. but havent had a chance to do so yet. im glad to hear someone else did this already haha.
I did the same thing for my triangle piece for my door panel, Since i took it off to replace my speaker the thing would not stop rattling. So i glued some foamy stuff to it and POOF! no more rattles. So it will work. I found my foam in my basement
did you just use some 3m spray on glue?
if worse come to worse ill just send in my old lady lol thanks for the help.
