Took a chance, thought it would look pretty ill with the chrome line around it. What you guys think?

Love it! It would have looked good with the whole wheel painted as well. Also would have looked good in a dark bronze on a silver, white, or blue car
How did you prep? You didn't just paint over the chrome did you?
I would've left it chrome but it doesn't look bad at all.
Cleaned it real well at first, sanded with 400 grit, then used some prep-all to make it nice and ready, did 3 coats of glossy black, and 2 clear coats
Also painted the chevy sign black if you didn't catch it on the front
