Is it better to leave all the air in the tire when storing summer tires over winter, or should some/all of the air be let out?
i wouldnt leave them at 40psi, but i also wouldnt leave them at 10. let some air out, just not to much. the way i see it, stretching your tires out isnt good, but letting them stretch for summerl, and shrink for winter, could wear out the tension in the tire. idk its a good question. i would ask a tire company like michelin or bfgoodrich. they would be the best place to find out
Really it doesn't matter to much if you take the air out. The main thing is that you CLEAN the hell out of them before putting them up. I also put an open trash bag over the top 3 just to keep dust off them.
