i was wondering if the axis reverb 18x 8.5 with 35 offset would fit a cav only lowered 1.7in. with like 225 tires

Yes.
Flik Artic 18x8.5 +35
And strut clearance in rear
No rubbing at full lock, I had my fenders rolled. I was dropped on Tein S-Techs.
my 18's are 18x7.5 with offset of +42mm and i have 225 tires and it fits right, im not sure about 8.5 wide tho
what color of reverbs are you getting??
Got Axis Spiders that are 8 wide with a +42 offset, they stick out a little, but don't rub at all. I'm lowered on the eibach sportlines, which also have the 1.7 drop.

4 Cams...32 Valves...5 Liters...This Could Get Fun!
i was gonna run axis reverb 18x 7.5 wide. all round with 225 35 tires but if i could i was gonna run 18x 8.5 in the front and 18x 9.5 or 10.5 wide in the rear with wheel spacers and a widebody conversion. in gettin the anthracite. eventually i wanna get a set of yokohoma super advan racing version 2's. i think those would look dope on a widebody cav with a drift kit.

nice, you wont be disappointed with the reverbs
i hope so, tire prices suck though, 600 for the cheapest tires including m+b. but like i said eventually i wanna get a set of yokohoma super advan racing version 2' with bfgoodrich g-force T/A kdw's but thats like 3k. but just to double check the 8.5 wides with 225 tires will fit on a stock or slightly lowered suspension setup and not run the inner fender in the front at max turnin??
