Well, I was thinking about what kidduntradishunal did with his wheels by painting them bronze. Seeing as how I don't like bronze, can't stand chrome in racing wheels, hate silver, and love flat black, but only on older hot rods, I was thinking...

I nearly @!#$ myself when my first coat of bronze went on my rims. "What the @!#$ kind of colour is this? Metallic @!#$?!! WHY DID I SPEND $25 ON THIS @!#$?!!!11one!exclaimation mark!"
If at first you are intimidated, just do it anyways. Like sex or something. The best part about spray paint is that if you dislike your final product, you didn't spend gads of your hard earned cheddar on powdercoating, anodizing, etc. Cost me about $10-15 in materials per wheel for my finish. Hardly something to cry over.
