Winter Tire Size

I'm lookin at buying winter rims and tires and right now i'm looking at 195/64/15's...but i might have to go smaller for money reasons...what other sizes would be ok?

Dude, that is about as small as you want to go. That is a small damn tire. That is also a small enough size that it is a cheap enough tire.

In my first post, i obviously meant 195/65/15...but anyways...so going something like 195/75/14 would be too small? and the reason i'm worrying about cost is that i'm also buying winter rims.

14" options

-195/70R14 (stock)
-185/75R14 (run about 35 psi in them to maintain weight of car)

15" options

195/65R15 (stock)

thats about all you have to choose from.




Injection is nice but id rather be BLOWN!

you have to run stock tire size for snows? wouldn't you need an alignment after snow tire installation anyway ?

You don't need an alignment when changing wheels. If the alignment was fine before you changed them, it will still be fine after.

Downsizing to save money is perfectly reasonable, so long as the rolling diameter is the same. No issues there.

I ended up with stock size snow tires, got TOYO OBSERVE. they ride pretty quiet hopefully we'll actually get some snow this year.
