Does anyone know if "they" make 14" rims that would fit a j-body? I like my new tires, but some rims would be nice.

is it just on the new js (03-05)? cuz i know the 95-99 have the z rims which are 16s and the steelies which are 15 and im pretty positive the 00-02 are the same. i just changed my sisters tire on her 05 cav and i could of sworn that was a 15in steelie

The '03 Base Sedan as 14" Steelies right? I'm pretty sure because I just bought tires that would fit that.

my buddies 2000 had 14s. So it started in 00-05

3rd generation j-bodies had 4 wheel/tire options
1- 14" steelies w/ wheel covers == base model
2- 15" steelies w/ wheel covers == base model upgrade
3- 15" alloy wheels == 2nd base model upgrade
4- 16" alloy wheels == usually reserved for Z24 and Sunfire GT

finally glad to see GM is getting into the wheel race
having 16s,17s and even 18s on the new cobalt
should have done that with the 3rd gen j-bodies, get rid of the steelies, go for alloy.

90 IIRC was the last year for 13s 91's can fit 13's but the cavs got 14s and my 91 sunbird has 14s, in 92 when they switched up the front brakes to the larger 10" ones on 92-05 cavs/bird/fire the smallest rim you can fit is 14s, so 14's on a j body have been around for a long time, i know they were on option on the older RS and the older Z24s had 14 as the largest wheel size up until 1990
