I know that 225/45/17 are perfect for my car but is it still perfect with my sportlines? yes or now and if not then what size do i go?

well when i had 17's i was just barely above the tires in the front and in the rear, the lip was tucking the top 1/2in. of the tire. thats of course because of bags. when i had coils, i was lowered about 2 1/2in w/ konis
you'll be fine with sportlines and most tires in that size IF your car is bouncing and bopping all over the road...
in other words, make sure you have proper damping on those springs, not blown stockers.

u should be more worried with offset of the rim
u should def. be fine..i have 19s and my car used to have sportlines..i have a 215/35 but still..it didnt rub..so ull be aight..

Offset will determine where the wheels are positioned laterally in the wheel wells. If you've got too low an offset, you will be hitting the fenders in the back and cutting up your tires. Basically, anything lower than about 35 may likely cause problems.
