anyone think Sebring rims would work on an '05 Sunfire? bolt pattern i same but what about possible rubbing issues. how much will it throw off the speedometer? what tires should I put on them?
well i know the convertables wont work. the coupe ones will. either that or visa versa. i checked it out and one was 5x100 and the other was 5x114. only way to find out if it will rub is to put in on. i dont know the size of the stock rim so i couldnt help you on a tire size
You have to be carefull with Diamler/Chrysler wheels, they may look good but they aren't worth a crap, they have a hard problem with taking any kind of stress. The first time you accidentily hit a curb, even if your only going 5mph the thing will bend and you would be screwed into buying another one.
yea, but im getting a set for 200 bucks. rims and tires so..what do I care? lol. i appareciate the warning. i AM looking at real rims in the futre, its just...funds are tigt and im making due. . any suggestions on what looks good on an '05 Sunfire? It's my first time owning a j-body.
Umm, if funds are tight why don't you just save your 200 bucks and get a real set of rims?

its actually the convertable rims that will work ,not the hard top
my sister had an 01 sebring and now an 01 galant (which are pretty much the same car, along with the 2-door stratus and eclipse) and the bolt pattern is 5 X 114. j-bodies are 5 X 100. so, unless you got wheel adapters (which i found for $80/each for a 1st gen RX7) they wouldn't fit
well...im trying to make it that that carshow for fires and cavys so, ill have exhaust and rims and a sweet sound setup.
you'd be better off getting some spinning hubcaps for $30
