hey i hope someone can help me out.. i currently have a 1996 Pontiac Sunfire 2.4L standard 5 speed un touched.... and i blew my motor i found a 2.2 ecotech out of a 2003 Cavalier with computer wiring harness and all but am concerned about my transmission bolting up.. any input would be GREATLY appreciated!!! PLZ HELP

it won't bolt up. to do the ecotec swap, you would have needed the entire car the engine you got came from. strip every wire, sensor, interior piece, everything from the underbody that isn't chassis related (fuel, emissions, exhaust) and everything from the engine bay from the donor, and put it in your car. also, you'd need to cut off and re-weld new engine AND trans mounts.
