Hi, I have a 2000 z24 convertible with an automatic transmission.
I have no idea what the model number of my transmission is, and im also not so sure how many gears it has, (Ive counted 3 but never pushed the car as hard for 4th)
I am looking to improve my shifting, and the BM Shiftplus was an option, in case my transmission was the 3 gear one, what option do I have to improve it?
How can I find my Transmission model on my car?
its easy to find out how many gears you have if looking at the center console if it says P R N D 3 2 1 you have a 4 speed (4t40e) which is my guess do to you having a z24 but if you have a 3 spd it will say P R N D 2 1 (3t40)
thats right, it says R N D 3 2 1
so thats it, (4t40e) es my transmission model, guess ill buy a BM shiftplus
THANKS FOR THE HELP arrival_04_eco (green98cav)
not a problem also search on here about the auto trans interceptor i had one back in the day and loved it.. they are not made anymore but its worth it if you can find one..
Not to bump the hell outta this, but, the auto interceptor, how is it?? Im having harsh engaugement into 2nd and slightly into 4th and was wondering if that would/could help with that. Other then that, she shifts normally. I also have a 00 Z24 Vert.
