so far everything has gone pretty well until i have to seperate the 2 pieces to get inside to the differential.

Ive got everything off but cannot get the bolt out from behind the black seal, i think this is the intermediate shaft bolt(kinda tired). I cant get it to budge. how do i get this off? any help would be appreciated since the instructions on the lsd install site are not very detailed.

Impact wrench. Use an old clutch to hold the main shaft or use something solid to hold it

o boy ive done that a few times in my day

take a drill and drill right throu the center of that black circle, behind it is a 8mm, you need a LARGE impact to get i loose the first time, then the tranny should come appart

Also pull that inner axle cup out of the trans.... its locked into the diff, and will make pulling the case apart that much harder.

thank you for the help. Got the LSD installed and the car is up and running again. Everything works great.

The speed sensor for my trans i managed to break in the process though and am having difficulty finding one for it.
The dealership says its on backorder and doesnt know when they will ever get any. Ive tried some parts stores and online and still cant find one for a manual trans. Anybody know where i can get one?

I will call some people tomorrow for you. I work at midas and can get some crazy stuff from a couple of our parts places.

Any luck? Im still searching for this speed sensor. I cant find one anywhere.
