hey guys...

installing a b&m short shifter.... im just putting the shift cable back on that attaches in the center at the bottom... i cant seem to get the end of the cable to fit over the little metal post all the way... it seems to snap half way but not all the way on like it was on the stock assembly

the other one that connects to the outside goes on no problem

am i missing something here??

Your talking about the little black thing that slides over the ball at the end of the shift stick for the front and back movement? I had some trouble with that as well, I had to use a lot of force.

I found that it can be done with the flat head screw driver and some finesse. Use a longer screw driver for leverage....
