i wanna know what every one with ecotec that have s/c are running for a clutch setup up, i heard some are running spec clutches but some have problems with them.
I have a couple friends who are running spec stage2+ with it and is fine. One of them races regulary also
yea cause i was thinking of goin with the spec 2+ but i'm goin to use my factory fly wheel i cant really aford to my a spec flywheel or some other one, plus i heard some have broke off around the crank bolts.
If you get SPEC brand, make sure it is the "+" series... PM us we price match if you find it lower.

is the "+" series like there top line whats the diff in the non "+" seires?
I've not had the plus series EVER. I've had a stage 2 and stage 3, loved them both. Drove a 3+ and hated it. The plus series are full face clutch discs that have driveablitly of stock w/ only a slight improvement in holding force, that's from the guy at spec himself. I've elected to go w/ the stage 4 for this year let's see how it holds up...

Qwibby (QBE) was running one and loved it. I have heard too many horror stories about spec, exedy, Clutchmaters, and nothing negative about bully. So i decided to go with them if they held up to Phil's driving habits and all the transmissions he went through, it must be a damn strong clutch.
No pun intended phil.
I am going with a bully stage 4(the one raven runs) or a spec twin disc for the turbo car. Should be fun...
Well dont go with the spec stage 2... I am all motor and mine just started slipping tonight
this is my 2nd spec clutch that has gone bad within 10k miles!!!! I say NO SPEC! Im going to look into some differnt companys

I've had a spec 3 in mine for quite some time mileage right around 40k on the clutch. I guess some of us are just better drivers than others

so with minor bolt ons like exhaust, intake maybe cams the oem clutch will be ok with the s/c?
so how many ppl have used a bully clutch?
I haven't had any issues with my Spec 2+ with 300WTQ (more power than it's meant to handle). It out lasted the transmission so no real complaints. It chattered when I first installed it but its fine now. Same with the Spec aluminum flywheel, no problems even with 330WHP and 300WTQ. I'm swapping the trans out soon so I'll look for stress cracks in the flywheel but as of now no complaints even driving the car with no second gear, lol.
