I have an isuzu trans in my 95HO cav, for some reason it never wants to shift into gear, i can shift threw all of my gears with the car parked just fine, and all my fluids are good. i can also drive the car when i start it in first or reverse (depending on which way im going) but as soon as i need to shift, it wont go into another gear. (i can also drive it in second if i started it in that gear) i can feel the clutch start shaking/vibrating when i start to engage it too. this blows. anyone know what could be happening?
thanks,
CCasper
maybe the linkage?
anyone?
no ideas? anything at this point would be helpful...
check the linkage........ i guess.
my guess would be something inside the transmission. but that bit about the clutch shaking.... idk. well, at least this is bumped so someone smart can tell you.
if nobody can tell you you should take it to a shop to get it looked at. cost alot, but it beats driving in one gear all day

Get all the parts you need in a pile, and drive the car into it.
They will find their way into the correct places.
