grinding gears

So after searching I,ve come up with nothing. Heres the problem, when I down shift into 2nd sometimes it goes in fine, sometimes it grinds or wont go into gear at all sometimes it even grinds upshifting to 2nd. It does the same thing upshifting into 3rd as well as reverse.I say i found nothing searching cause all the things I found to cause it like the slave cylinder and clutch were just replaced and the sync rings were done alitttle under a year ago.

Could the sync rings really have gone that fast?

reverse is an easy one, you have to be stopped, put it in first THEN shift to reverse to not grind it. reverse is non-synchro'd, so it spins all the time.

Our trannys are constant mesh transmissions which means that all the gears spin all the time. All the syncro's do is match rotational speed in the transmission and engage gears. As for the syncros going again, well the mechanic who "fixed" it could have done a $hitty job or the shop could have gotten $hitty parts. So yea the syncros can be shot again, some people just have that luck.
