Auto Transmission Help!!! need expert advice

I am working on a 2005 Cavalier. I bought a 4T65E transmission out of a junk yard, and have it almost all the way rebuilt and ready to handle a massive amount of power. Now heres my problem. Im was going to use the Haltech E6X ECU and a PCS stand alone transmission controller. Im having trouble locating an engne harness for an ecotec to mate with the haltech. Will the factory computer still operate if i have the transmission controls disconected and wired to the PCS controller?

you may have to wire some sensors in line like the vss and tach leads other than that I dont see any real problems....
If you can get a wiring diagram it will help you allot.

I just cant drive 55

I know that you can run a auto ECU in a manual car and it will work fine (and in that case there is not auto tranny info going back to the ECU). It also will throw a code because it does not see the tranny. I know a manual ECU in a auto car will allow the car to start and run, but can't run the auto tranny. I think what your looking at will work.

Hey thanks Higgins. Now i have one more question? If i buy a manual trans ECU, will everything plug in the same or will i need the manual ECU Harness? I have the stand alone controller, i dont need the factory computer to handle anything to do with the transmission. Thats why i want to buy a manual trans ECU and use HP Tuners.
