Spec Pressure Plate

alright. I'm in the process of reinstalling my clutch and transmission after the bearing around the input shaft got busted up from the throwout blowing up. I was wondering if there should be some gap between the pressure plate cover and the fingers? It isn't noticable when it isn't starting to recieve pressure from the bolts holding it in place but once you start to torque it down you notice about 1/8" gap or a bit more. Of a gap between cover and the fingers on the pressure plate. is this normal or do I have a bad pressure plate?

My ACT is about the same way, i ended up going with a different Clutch. I have faith your clutch isnt bad, and that the shop who did it was moronic. Listening otherwise, i think the pressureplate should be flush against the flywheel.
