Hey, newbie here, first post

13 years ago I wrecked my 87 cavalier RS convert.
2 days ago I purchased one, same color, white with blue interior
needs work
My question is...
This one has a 2.8 liter with an automatic.
my old one was a 2.0 liter 4 speed
I want the 4 cylinder and the manual trans again, will the 2.0 liter engine bolt to the 2.8 liter trans? for now untill I can find a donor car with a stick?
or do I need an entire donor car?
Which cars could i get a 2.0 liter out of?
Im starting from scratch on this one so I want to do it right/full resto
any info would help
