reservoir/clutch problems

i have a 2000 chevy 2.2 cavalier 5spd manual and past few weeks off and on its not letting me go in any gear unless i force sometimes not even that and today u could smell the clutch burning almost (not to strong) i luckily got it home from work but its gotten bad when u cant get it in gear at all
is it the clutch? whats causing?

yea i checked the fluid. but coulda been alittle to late
i bought some manual trans fluid for the car fillied it and drove abot 30miles or so
and going there it was workin good and by time i got back home it was rough n bad again and needed another quart was gone , its leaking at seals or something

I had the same problem in my car a few years ago. you have a leak in your clutch fluid. In my case it leaked right into the actual clutch and they had to disassemble it.

Hey dude> Kinda new to J-body's and well ya i got some problems with my tranny also. So ya i was looking at my manuals and it explains were the tranny dip stick and fill hole is but it dosent show. I was just wondering if you could tell me exactly.. On top or underneath and what side?!
