Did it myself with jackstands and brute force. Labor cost = 0. Great way to learn.

well dont you have to drop the sub frame and everything to get to it? If i could do it that way then I'll be all over it but thats the problem is its my daily driver so i need minimal down time...... yea i'd love to do it but im sure its difficult and a extra set of helping hands would help.

Damn, that's pretty quick.
It takes me 3 hours just to get the trans out. (on a 9-3ss)

cost me about 17.99 plus tax and deposit........for the beer while me and my bro changed my clutch in the driveway..

was quite an experience, didn't have an axel nut so we took the axel off along with the wheel hub, brakes ect..as one unit, not fun.

then we spent an hour trying to get the tranny back on the car, didn't realize it slides right on if you undo the lower engine mount...but overall, for a couple of ameteuars, kinda drunk, it wasn't too hard...at least i remembered to use locktite on the bolts

The clutch I just did, totaled about $1200 (forget the exact amount). $380 for the parts and the rest in labor.
