im thinking of putting redlines synthetic tranny fluid in my '04 cavalier. i was wondering if anyone has tried it and what differences they may have noticed.

I've been using it for couple years now (the MTL...i think). No complaints.

The main reason I switch from the stock tranny fluid was that I was tired of shifting through molasses in the winter time and my mechanic recommended switching from the stock fluid to the redline tranny fluid.

Also, somewhere in here there is a thread of someone who experimented will all different kinds of tranny fluids, trying searching for that as it may provide more insightfulnes than I can.

ps. I'm guessing you have a manual transmission?? If not this information may not be useful

thanks for ur help. i just ordered the d4 atf today but ill cancel it and get the MTL.

I got royal purple syncromax. When I miss the gears, it doesn't grind. lol It just doesn't go in. But overall (a little) easier to @!#$. worth the $12.
