Does anybody have any clues as to about what it costs to have a 5spd manual transmission out of a 88-96 F-150 rebuilt??? I almost bought one today for cheap but the tranny is junk

roughly $1000-1500 and thats having them remove and reinstall the tranny, if you take it out and take it to them and you reinstall it of course itll be a bit cheaper

yeah I dunno if I wanna deal with that though, because last time we did that was on my buddies Dodge and we couldn't get the seal completely perfect so it leaked a tiny bit so he had to take it in and they did it for him...but they were nice about it and only charged him for a new seal because the old was torn
